The Rev. Carrie Klukas was blessed to grow up with an early awareness of God. She sat in the pew next to her grandmother who loved attending church, which gave her a real vision for intergenerational worship. In her early years of college, she found a love for teaching, pastoring, and leading others to the Lord. In the process of putting herself through college, she received a calling to be a priest. After a lot of discernment, and seminary at Nashotah House Theological Seminary and Trinity School for Ministry she was ordained in 2007. Since her ordination, she has served the diocese, pastored churches, and is raising her ever-growing family. Her days are filled with homeschooling six children, natural living projects, and talking theology on the sidewalk or around the sandbox. She is married to Rev. Christopher Klukas and so very thankful to do life with him. Her interests are making things from scratch, gardening, practical theology, Florida wildlife, and reading.
