Discipleship

The process of becoming a disciple begins when you first become a Christian, but it continues throughout the rest of your life. At Good Samaritan Anglican Church we provide many opportunities throughout the week to grow in your relationship with Christ.

To Be A Christian

9:30am on Sundays

This class walks through the catechism of the Anglican Church in North America each year from September through May (though you can feel free to jump in at any point during the year). This is a wonderful way to learn more about what we believe as Anglican Christians and how our beliefs impact our daily lives. It is recommended that all new members participate in this class.

Sunday Bible Study

9:30am on Sundays

This Bible Study works its way through various books of the Bible, section by section.

Children’s Sunday School

At the 10:30 service children’s church is available to those who wish to participate. After the children’s sermon, preschoolers and kindergarteners (four to five years old) through older children (grades one through six) follow the teachers to the Sunday School rooms where they participate in a Bible teaching with our teachers. The children return during the peace. Both classrooms are located in the parish hall, directly across the driveway from the entrance to the church. Please see our Family Ministry page for more information about our vision for raising children in the faith.

Wednesday Discipleship Eucharist

On Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm we offer an informal Eucharist. We begin with some music, move into a discipleship discussion, and end with the Eucharist. This service is followed by the opportunity for healing and intercessory prayer at 8:00pm.

Thursday Bible Study

On Thursdays at 9:30am we offer a Bible study that works its way through the Bible, section by section.

Other Opportunities

Throughout the year we offer short term classes of 5-10 weeks. Please see our upcoming events page for more information.
